Wexas Managing Director, Steve Allen, urges optimism for the year ahead.
Despite the current economic difficulties being experienced in the UK, there is cause for confidence as Steve Allen summed up in a message to members recently.
"It's clear that UK PLC is not in a great place financially and the economic outlook is pretty gloomy. You can take this in one of two ways: head down into the proverbial bunker and hope that the storms will eventually pass, or you can conclude that life is far too short not to crack on with making the most of today and tomorrow," he said.
"As a 'glass-half-full' person, I believe that we should do all that we can to positively embrace the future, and that a major part of any such embrace should involve travel to places both new and familiar, with family and friends.
"On the plus side, there are sure to be great value options available for travel in 2012, and we will do all we can to deliver accordingly. You will be spoilt for choice, with ideas to fire your imagination and a whole variety of experiences to enjoy. So let's make next year's resolution to spend precious time with our loved ones in some of the world's most amazing places."
