We are excited to share the first images of the new Qatar Airways Qsuite business class. While the new class is not yet released, it's likely that the launch will take place in June 2017. The Boeing 777-300ER on the Doha-London routing will be the first to receive a new Qsuite, while older aircraft will be retrofitted.
Qatar Airways has spent three years designing the Qsuite, and it is rumoured to feature sliding pocket doors to allow passengers privacy, as well as family dining options with seating that allows four passengers to eat facing one another.
Middle seats will also enjoy a double bed conversion, so every other pair of middle seats can have a previously unheard-of amount iof space and comfort.
According to Australian Business Traveller, "The high walls are a clear influence drawn from the first class suites of competitors Emirates, Etihad Airways and Singapore Airlines. These stand at 135cm from base to top, being high enough for privacy but low enough for the crew to peer in and offer assistance without having to open the door."
Passengers have the option of using a "do not disturb" button on their privacy doors if they are sleeping or working, so there is no worry about either being woken during much-needed rest, or missing a meal.
