It's 60 years since Ian Fleming published his first Bond novel, Casino Royale, and introduced the world to James Bond. In the book, the Double 0 agent had a single chance to bring down the desperate SMERSH agent Le Chiffre over a game of cards but he soon discovered there was more at stake than money...
The first print run sold out in a month and a franchise was born. Since then James Bond has become a literary and cinematic icon, with trademark gadgets, guns and girls. He's also travelled all around the world, taking in destinations as disparate as India, Brazil, Japan, Greece and Jamaica.
