Greek Air Traffic Control has reduced to 12 hrs a planned 48-hour strike and flights are now being re-instated.
The following flights have been re instated to/from Athens
BA634/ 19/10 returning as BA631/ 20/10
BA640/ 20/10/11 returning as BA641/20/10/11
BA632/ 20/10/11 returning as BA633/ 20/10/11
BA634/ 20/10/11 returning as BA631/ 21/10/11
All of the above flights have been re-opened for sale.
This will allow passengers from cancelled services to rebook under the general conditions of carriage.
These Wednesday flights are now being retimed closer to their original departure time than the current flight delay published. The delay is now three hrs and not 36 as earlier.
The revised timings (all local) are:
BA2642 LGW departing 1605, arriving SKG 2125
BA2643 SKG departing 2225, arriving LGW 2355
These flights have also been re-opened for sale
Passengers from cancelled services can now rebook to these services under the general conditions of carriage - this includes any passenger from a cancelled service who has rebooked to a later flight and now wishes to travel on an earlier service may do so Free of Charge.
