Red Carnation's award-winning Egerton Hotel, a five-star property located in Knightsbridge, was named London's top hotel following research based on online guest satisfaction and guest reviews from over 70 million online reviews.
The five-star Milestone Hotel in Kensington made number five on the list. The five-star ‘41' Hotel, which overlooks Buckingham Palace, followed in at number six, while the four-star, The Chesterfield, Mayfair, made the number nine spot.
The research was carried out by ReviewPro as part of a Global Review Index to create hotel rankings for the top 100 tourist destinations in the world. The research was compiled through guest reviews across 60 of the leading review websites and Online Travel Agencies.
Managing director of Red Carnation Hotel Collection, Jonathan Raggett, said: "The positioning of four of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection in the top ten reflects our dedication to providing guests with the highest levels of service. It's an outstanding achievement for The Egerton in particular, reaching the number one spot, with a fantastic score of 97.8%.
