Now in its 16th year, Port Douglas Carnivale has grown from a simple street fiesta into a wide-ranging festival involving the entire community.
The 2010 event line-up has changed from previous years and now opens with a new cocktail party and signature food event, held outdoors in Rex Meal Park.
The Port Douglas Carnivale is benefiting from significant regional event scheme funding from the Queensland Events Regional Development Program, designed to extend the flow of funding and economic benefits to regional Queensland.
