People hoping to enjoy a once in a lifetime experience should make India travel arrangements, according to one expert.Cicely Austin, writing for Suite 101, said the nation is "full of unique sights and sounds".
"No two trips to this country could ever be exactly the same," she remarked, adding that the number of activities available to tourists is huge.
"There are the beautiful sun-drenched beaches of Goa and the world's highest mountain ranges," Ms Austin explained.
According to the writer, those who like the hustle and bustle of a lively city should take a trip to Mumbai, which is the busiest in the Asian country.
An Indian Ocean holiday such as this is popular with all holidaymakers, she commented, from seasoned veterans to novices.
Fellow Suite 101 writer Ruchi Row praised Mumbai recently in an article for the publication, claiming it has a diverse mix of clubs and bars for night-life lovers.
