People travelling near Melbourne in Australia should take a trip to the Grampians National Park, it has been claimed.
Writing for Suite 101, Mandy Morrissey noted that it is just a few hours away from the city and offers a wide range of historical and natural wonders. She remarked: "The Grampians contain an abundance of things to see and do including Aboriginal art sites, bushwalking, wine-tasting, native wildlife spotting, waterfalls and mountains."
Quoting Visit Victoria, the official tourist board for the region, Ms Morrissey added there is over 160 km of walking trails to enjoy, with journeys ranging from ten-minute walks to overnight treks.
Those who would prefer a more relaxing stay in the area can have a spa treatment or play some golf, she added.
According to Visit Grampians, the location offers "breathtaking scenic attractions", as well as a dizzying choice of suitable accommodation, activities and native flora and fauna.
