Costa Cruises has invited individuals to enjoy the inaugural trip of one of its latest offerings.
Due to set sail on 5 February 2010, the Costa Deliziosa will journey from Savona to Dubai and is to feature "impressive" and "outstanding" attractions, such as a three-storey theatre and a 4D cinema.
Other amenities available to holidaymakers include one of the world's largest spas on water, a Grand Prix driving simulator and a roller-skating track.
Upon reaching its destination, the vessel - which is a sister ship to Costa Luminosa - will be officially named, with passengers being able to experience the first ceremony of this kind to take place in an Arabian city.
The cruise ship is scheduled to visit Egypt, Jordan, Yemen and Oman during the 20-night voyage.
Bill Gibbons, director of the Passenger Shipping Association, recently stated that the organisation predicts that a record number of 1.65 million UK residents will take a trip by cruise ship in 2010.
