The Hotel Lindrum is a classic building with an excellent location on Flinders Street, within walking distance of a wealth of attractions. The building's history dates back to the early 1900s when it was commissioned by renowned Melbourne tea merchants Griffiths Brothers; by the 1960s it had become part of the Herald publishing empire but it wasn’t until 1999 that it opened its doors as a hotel.
Location
Located at the top of Flinders Street the hotel is within walking distance of world class theatres, restaurants and major sporting attractions such as the MCG. Flinders Street Station is a short walk away, as is Federation Square. The international airport is around 25 minutes drive and there is a secure public car park adjacent to the hotel.
Accommodation
Rooms and suites at the Hotel Lindrum are recently refurbished and there is a variety to choose from. Studios offer a king, queen or two single beds, LCD TVs, air conditioning, tea & coffee and minibar whilst the superior rooms are slightly larger with more room to relax. Deluxe rooms showcase the heritage of the building with large bay or arched windows and the Junior Suites are spacious, tranquil spaces with large windows. All rooms offer complimentary WiFi.

Felt restaurant is one of Melbourne’s finest restaurants and is open for breakfast daily and dinner Monday to Saturday. High tea is served every Sunday between 1 and 4pm. The Back Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of fine Aussie wine after a day exploring. 24 hour room service is also available.
