Covered in lush tropical rainforest, Bedarra is a member of the family group of islands located on the fringe of the Great Barrier Reef just off the coast of north Queensland’s Mission Beach, approximately 2.5 hours south of Cairns.
Made up of just 16 carefully positioned villas, each one with stunning ocean and rainforest views guests will enjoy a whole new level of quiet indulgence and pure relaxation. Slip away with your own gourmet hamper and private dinghy to one of many secluded beaches, relax with a therapeutic spa treatment, swim, snorkel or dive (trips available to nearby Great Barrier Reef), kayak, fish hike, play tennis or simply sit by the pool or on you private sundeck. With a maximum of 32 guests at any one time, guests have the opportunity to as much privacy as they desire.
Dining on Bedarra is culinary delight, with a new menu daily, you’ll be treated to a wide selection of local seafood as well as a selection of equally delicious alternatives with an Australian twist. The open air Terrace Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily with spectacular views across the main pool. For those wanting more privacy or an inimate dining experience, there are several private dining opportunities available from gourmet hampers to beachfront dining.*
Access to Bedarra is by scheduled flight & complimentary boat transfers (1 hour) from Cairns via Dunk Island.
Scheduled flight transfers from Cairns to Dunk Island depart daily at 12:15pm and 2:30pm to connect with the boat transfer to Bedarra Island. Return boat transfers from Bedarra Island depart daily to connect with the return flights from Dunk Island, which depart at 9:00am and 1:15pm.
Alternative, you can also take the Quickcat or Water taxi from Mission beach service from Mission Beach.
