Are you a talented copywriter with a passion for travel? If so, you could be the person for us. An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wexas, a London-based luxury tour operator, as a content writer in our busy marketing team.
Reporting to the Content Marketing Manager, you'll create inspiring articles, accommodation and itinerary descriptions, advertising and promotional copy for both web and print.
With an eye for compelling, SEO-driven content, you'll focus on delivering high-quality enquiries to all of Wexas's leisure and corporate brands. You'll also liaise closely with both the marketing and product departments to ensure that key enquiry and conversion targets are met in keeping with deadlines set out in the marketing plan.
You will also be tasked with the loading of content to all Wexas-owned websites, and managing social media channels across multiple brands.
Duties will include:
- Writing itineraries, hotel descriptions, blog articles and other related copy for web and print
- Choosing relevant images from the asset bank and photography library and resizing it so that it is fit for purpose.
- Loading copy and images onto the website using the CMS system
- Writing copy for brochures and any ad hoc promotional materials.
- Proof reading all written content for web and print
- Managing social media content across multiple brands
- Designing banners/MPUs/Leaderboards and other display activity using Photoshop
- Creating and sending e-shots using the in-house CMS system
- Other ad hoc activity to support the marketing team
Professional/Technical Competencies:
Required:
- Exemplary writing skills
- Excellent accuracy Proof reading
- A passion for travel and a good knowledge of the countries and cultures of the world
- Basic Adobe Photoshop CMS experience
- Working knowledge of Excel
Desirable:
- Basic knowledge of HTML Adobe InDesign
