Virgin Atlantic to return to Vancouver

13 May 2013 by Luke McCormick

Virgin Atlantic has announced the return of flights to Vancouver this summer after a successful first season.

In a statement the airline said: "From 14 May 2013 we're once again operating direct flights from London Heathrow to Vancouver."

"The service will operate four days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and will run through the summer until 12 October 2013.

"The VS095 departs London Heathrow at 15:45 and arrives into Vancouver at 17:40 just in time for tea.

"On the return, the VS096 departs at 19:50 and arrives into London Heathrow the following day at 13:25."

Vancouver is a great choice of destination for travellers. Surrounded by water and set against a backdrop of snowcapped mountain scenery, it's easy to see why Vancouverites spend so little time indoors.
