The brand new relaxing, yet luxurious Tierra Patagonia design hotel has officially opened today in Chile's spectacular Torres del Paine National Park.

Sister property to the highly successful Tierra Atacama in northern Chile, the Hotel will operate seasonally, closing for the southern hemisphere's winter on 30 April 2012 and reopening on 01 September 2012.

Guests will enjoy an all-inclusive Patagonian experience with excellent guided excursions, delicious and healthy local cuisine, open bar, and access to the Uma Spa facilities including the indoor swimming pool and outdoor jacuzzi. The all-inclusive stays will also include ground transfers from Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas airports.

Large windows give excellent views from all public spaces and 40 guest rooms.

Hotel facilities include living room, bar, dining area, guides' presentation room, library, TV lounge, indoor pool, indoor & outdoor Jacuzzi and full Uma Spa. Guest rooms have lovely bedding and bathrooms with amenities by L'Occitaine. A large, always-lit fireplace welcomes guests in true Patagonian style.

General Manager Tierra Hotels, Miguel Purcell, said: "Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa, the newest member of Tierra Hotels, and sister resort to Tierra Atacama Hotel & Spa in northern Chile and the Portillo Ski Resort in the Andes Mountains in central Chile.

"Set in the uttermost south of Chile, our hotel looks out over Lake Sarmiento to the mountain peaks of Torres del Paine National Park, the centerpiece of Chilean Patagonia and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve site since 1978.

"Our expert guides are ready to show you the magnificent beauty and many endemic species of Torres del Paine and our part of Patagonia; our Uma Spa will receive and pamper you after your excursions; and our chef will treat you to his excellent cooking paired with wonderful Chilean wines."
