Airlines are warning of possible disruption at some European airports today because of heavy snowfalls across the continent.
Airports at "a possible risk of large accumulations of snow" include Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Basel, Geneva and Zurich.
Lyon airport remains closed because of heavy snowfall. Customers planning to travel to Lyon today are being advised to plan for possible disruption and delays.
"We strongly recommend that you allow extra time for your trip to the airport, to closely monitor local weather forecasts and check the status of your flight," a spokesperson for EasyJet said.
European air traffic management company Eurocontrol said that while snow removal is underway at the airport, it would take several hours for operations to resume.
Despite snowfall across most of the UK yesterday, most airports continue to operate normally.
