The largest spa facilities at sea will soon be available from one cruise ship operator.
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) revealed that Norwegian Epic is to provide the service, which will cover more than 31,000 sq ft of the vessel.
According to the organisation, the spa and fitness amenities will include 24 treatment rooms, two steam rooms, a DIY scrub experience and two couples' villas.
Chief executive officer of the firm, Kevin Sheehan, said the new offering provides inventive procedures and products.
He remarked: "As with our world-class entertainment, dining and innovative stateroom categories on Norwegian Epic, our spa facilities will take cruising to an entirely new level."
The enterprise added that men, women and children can all get involved, with over 50 treatments available, including a number of "kid-friendly" spa options.
Last month, NCL announced it will be expanding its itinerary for the 2011-12 season, which will have journeys from Copenhagen for the first time.
