Rawnsley Park Station in South Australia’s Flinders Ranges has opened the new luxury two-bedroom Arkapena Homestead, which has been renovated in the style of nearby Rawnsley’s Eco Villas.
The completely self-contained property, which has great views of Chace Range and Wilpena Pound, is located on the secluded 9,000 hectare Arkapena Station and boasts a private outdoor shower and barbeque dining area.
In Noosa, Queensland, the Quay West Resort & Spa has opened providing accommodation in 78 studios with private courtyards, many overlooking a nearby conservation sanctuary.
The onsite Mii day spa offers relaxation, while there is a lagoon pool with a man-made beach and the Pelos Kiddies Club for families.
Sydney’s Star City Casino has launched a new luxury complex overlooking Darling Harbour containing a 480-room five-star hotel, 2,000-seat theatre, 11 restaurants and two bars. The Star City Hotel and Apartments is being billed as an ‘ideal address for business and leisure travellers’.
Elsewhere Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney has opened Australia’s first Chi spa location featuring six private spa suites with views over Sydney, while Castaways Resort & Spa Mission Beach in Queensland’s Whitsunday’s has added refurbished rooms with direct access onto a beachfront pool area.
