Journey to the town of Lulea on the Gulf of Bothnia in northern Sweden, where you'll spend one night, before transferring to the incredible Treehotel. Spend a night in one of the hotel's unique tree house rooms as well as enjoying some of the many activities on offer before embarking on a scenic rail journey to the town of Kiruna, where you'll transfer to the world-renowned Ice Hotel. A two-night stay will allow you plenty of time to explore both the hotel and surrounding winter landscapes before returning to the UK.
Day by day itinerary
Depart the UK and fly to Lulea via Stockholm. On arrival you'll be met and transferred to the Clarion Sense for a one-night stay. The rest of the day is yours to explore Lulea or maybe enjoy an evening snowshoe excursion to see the Northern Lights (optional).
Stay: Clarion Sense, Lulea (Superior)
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer with your guide to Treehotel where you'll stay for the night. On arrival, embark on a tour of the hotel where you'll learn about its unique and environmentally friendly design and construction. Several optional excursions can be arranged for the afternoon including dog sledding, a horse and sleigh ride or a cultural visit to a Sami village. Another options is an afternoon skiing at the nearby resort of Storklinten. Your accommodation for the night will be in the wonderfully named Cabin, Bird's Nest, Blue Cone or UFO. The hotel's Mirror Cube room is available with a supplement.
Stay: Treehotel, Harads, Sweden (Superior)
Today you'll travel by train from Lulea to Kiruna where you'll be met and transferred to the world-famous Ice Hotel, your home for the next two nights. Take a tour of this incredible hotel, newly built each year from fresh snow and ice, before checking into an Ice Room where you'll spend your first night (upgrades to Deluxe Rooms, Winter and Art Suites available for a supplement).

Ice Hotel - Excursions
Wake to a warm glass of lingonberry juice before enjoying a delicious buffet breakfast. A morning sauna completes a great start to the day before you set off on one of the Ice Hotel's fantastic optional activities including husky and snowmobile safaris, ice driving or a reindeer encounter. The day will be rounded off with a traditional Lappish dinner (not included) and an optional tour in search of the magical Northern Lights. Your second night at Ice Hotel will be spent in one of the hotel's warm hotel rooms.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight home via Stockholm.
