ms Noordam is a member of Holland America Line's Vista class, and the fourth cruise ship in the line, sailing to Alaska, The Yukon, the South Pacific and Australasia. Inside, there’s wonderfully contrasting 19th century paintings and contemporary photographs adorning the walls, while rooms are all spectacular, from spacious staterooms to the private verandas of the Neptune suite.

The excellent restaurants on offer include The Dining Room, where you can expect the likes of bucatini with duck and rockfish with garlic clams alongside expertly curated wines. Canletto features Italian classics, and Tamarind showcases flavours of Southeast Asia with dishes such as wok-seared lobster and barramundi in banana leaf. Dinner in Rudi's Sel De Mer is a particular indulgence featuring classic French dishes with a contemporary twist. Then there's The Culinary Arts Centre, whose menu of American classics includes harissa Parmesan fries and glazed chicken wings.
