Zambia Discovery
Zambia is a fascinating country, full of spectacular scenery and an abundance of wildlife. While many visitors only stop to see the Victoria Falls, the country has so much to offer as a destination in its own right.
This nine-day tour combines a stay at the mighty Victoria Falls with a safari in the Kafue National Park, where its possible to see rare species of antelope as well as leopard, cheetah and zebra. Follow this with a memorable walking safari in the South Luangwa, famed for its large lion population.

Day 1: Livingstone
Arrive at Livingstone airport and transfer to the River Club on the banks of the mighty Zambezi river.

Day 2: Victoria Falls
The River Club has an enviable position on the banks of the Zambezi River, 18km from the Victoria Falls, one of the world's natural wonders. Ten luxury thatched chalets give guests uninterrupted view of the Zambezi River and the hotel has a host of facilities on offer including croquet and boules. Enjoy a day exploring the Victoria Falls National Park and the spectacle that is the falls themselves. Finish the day with a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi where hippo and crocodiles line the banks.

Day 3: Kafue National Park
Transfer by light aircraft from Livingstone to Kafue before boarding a helicopter for your transfer from Busanga Airstrip to Busanga Bush Camp, your home for the next three nights. Kafue National Park is one of the largest in Africa and the Busanga Plains lie in the extreme north of the Kafue in an area of pristine wetlands. The plains are home to puku, red lechwe, herds of wildebeest, zebra and buffalo, and of course the predators that come with this wealth of game - wild dog, cheetah and prides of lion.

Days 4–5: Kafue National Park
The Busanga Bush Camp is proud to provide some of best lion viewing in Africa and also boasts a prolific bird life. Enjoy day and night game drives with your ranger to explore this remote region. Travel between August and November and enjoy a complimentary hot-air balloon flight over the plains.

Day 6: Mfuwe
Transfer by helicopter from the camp back to Kafue, then transfer by light aircraft from Kafue to Mfuwe via Lusaka and on to Chamilandu Camp in the South Luangwa National Park. The camp is situated in a prime spot perched on the river, ideal for viewing the local wildlife. Enjoy the vista or a vast African sky from your four poster bed in your stilted tree-house, one of only three at the camp.

Days 7–8: South Luangwa National Park
South Luangwa National Park is famed for its traditional walking safaris. Choose to stay at the same camp for the duration of your stay or walk through the park by day, staying at a different camp each night. Enjoy lunch while overlooking the lagoons where animals bathe and marvel at the game on offer during safari drives.

Day 9: Lusaka
Light aircraft transfer to Lusaka airport for your onward flight.
