Days 1-3 Cape Town
Your journey starts in the Mother City, Cape Town, where you collect your hire car and drive to the contemporary and very luxurious Kensington Place boutique hotel, in the centre of this wonderful city. Take a trip up Table Mountain, explore the Cape Peninsula, taking in Cape Point, the penguins at Boulders Beach and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. If you’d prefer not to drive, transfers and day tours can be arranged instead. Spend the next 3 nights at Kensington Place, Cape Town.
Days 4-7 Tswalu Kalahari Lodge
Return your hire car to Cape Town airport for your flight up to the Kalahari wilderness in South Africa’s Northern Cape. This area is often referred to as the ’real Africa’. Tswalu is the country’s largest private game reserve and home to profilic flora and fauna and several endangered species. Tswalu is a member of Relais and Chateaux, although the emphasis here is conservation and about being immersed in a complete wilderness area of outstanding natural beauty. Spend your days at Tswalu enjoying the twice daily game drives with your expert ranger and tracker on board, to ensure an amazing wildlife experience. Try your hand at horse-riding with an equestrian guide, or a walking safari, also included in this package. Spend 4 nights at Tswalu Kalahari Lodge, Northern Cape.
Day 8 Return flight to Cape Town
Transfer to the Kalahari airstrip for your return flight to Cape Town and your flight to the UK, or to continue your adventure.
