Self-drive holidays
Looking to put together a self-drive holiday? Our holiday experts work with all the major car rental companies such as Avis, Hertz, Budget, Holiday Autos and Alamo in the UK and offer discounts, however you choose to pay. For the best deals, we do urge you to book and pay before you travel. We recommend inclusive rates which normally include unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver and, sometimes, personal accident insurance, theft protection and airport surcharges. They’re usually cheaper than ’time and kilometre’ or standard tariff rates, but they must be both pre-paid and pre-booked with us.
Before you travel, we would urge you to make sure all your party and luggage will fit into your reserved car comfortably. While economy cars are suitable for short journeys, we wouldn’t recommend one for a touring holiday. Take advice from our holiday experts about the vehicles available in each category and the approximate prices. For example, a minivan to accommodate up to eight passengers can be really good value.
Honeymoons and group travel
WEXAS can also help in organising honeymoons – including honeymoon wedding list style services – and group travel arrangements for large parties – whether it be for extended family, a school trip or just a large group of friends. Read more about honeymoons and group travel.
