European Waterways

Since 1974, European Waterways has been providing high quality cruises on its fleet of ‘floating boutique hotels’ in France and across Europe to a discerning clientele.

Every six-night cruise includes all meals, open bar, regional wines, daily escorted excursions, local transfers, the use of barge facilities such as bicycles to explore the towpaths and a sundeck to laze on or a spa pool to relax in. All this, combined with a few hours’ sedate cruising each day through some of Europe’s finest scenery, creates an ‘ambience extraordinaire’.

The fully crewed luxury vessels accommodate between four and 20 passengers. You may choose to charter a whole boat with family and friends or join a small group of like-minded travellers on an individual basis.

The average onboard ratio is one crew member for every two passengers, the crew including a captain, chef, deckhand/tour guide and housekeeper, thus ensuring a very high level of service.
