Experience the magic of the Northern Lights in the heart of Arctic Norway

Set amongst some of Norway's most spectacular scenery, deep inside the Arctic Circle and around three hours from the city of Tromsø, Lyngen Lodge offers guests a truly remarkable location from which to see the Aurora Borealis, more commonly known as the Northern Lights.

This six-day tailor-made trip includes two nights in Tromsø and three nights at Lyngen Lodge where you'll have the chance to take part in a number of optional excursions including snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing and cross-country skiing - the perfect way to immerse yourself in the landscapes and culture of this unique corner of Norway.

1 night Tromsø • 3 nights Lyngen Lodge • 1 night Tromsø

Day 1: Tromsø

Depart the UK and fly via Oslo to Tromsø. On arrival, make your way to the Radisson Blu, located near the harbour in the heart of the city, for a one-night stay.

The rest of the day is yours to explore the city. In the evening, head out to one of the city's many top-class restaurants before joining an optional tour in search of your first glimpse of the Northern Lights.

Stay: Radisson Blu Tromsø

Day 2: Lyngen Lodge

After breakfast at your hotel you'll transfer by road to Lyngen Lodge, around three hours drive from Tromsø. Check in for a three-night stay and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing in one of the lodge's hot tubs or, if there's time, head out on one of the many excursions on offer from snow shoeing to dog sledding.

In the evening you'll settle down to a delicious dinner and maybe, if you're lucky, see the Northern Lights dancing in the night sky overhead.
