Kwandwe Private Game Reserve covers
20,000 hectares of The Great Fish River region of the Eastern Cape
and offers Big Five game viewing plus excellent birdwatching
opportunities. Kwandwe features three intimate camps; each very
different there’s something to suit every guest.
The Main Lodge
features nine Frontier–style thatch and glass suites each with a
private plunge pool and observation deck with spectacular views
over the Great Fish River valley.
The Uplands Homestead
is a restored 1905 farmhouse with three spacious bedrooms, ideal
for groups or families. Here, you have exclusive use of 4x4 safari
vehicle and private butler, ranger and chef.
Ecca Lodge, with six
suites, is fun and modern with lots of airy, open spaces. There is
a gorgeous rim–flow lap pool and an interpretive centre , great for
children of all ages, and a large veranda with viewing decks for
watching the wildlife.

daily game drives, all meals, house wines, local brand spirits and
