There is no better way to arrive at Machu Picchu than on foot, visiting the ruins in the early morning light before the crowds arrive. The four day hike starts in the Sacred Valley, rising through the Andes, before descending again to the cloud forest of Machu Picchu. Our treks include porters to carry all belongings, cooks who prepare a varied menu, tents for your three nights on the trail, hotel accommodation for a night after the trek. Rail travel back to Cuzco and a knowledgeable guide who will explain the different Inca sites you pass. There are a number of routes and durations available.
