Day 1 Depart UK.

Arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 Lima to Cuzco.

Transfer to Lima airport and fly over the Andes to Cuzco. Private transfer to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure to explore. (B)

Day 3 Sacred Valley.

Full–day tour of the impressive fort of Ollantaytambo and the vibrant Indian market of Pisac. Return to Cuzco for an evening at leisure. (B,L)

Day 4 Machu Picchu.

Take the train up through spectacular scenery to Machu Picchu. Full–day tour of the ruins and overnight at Aguas Calientes, the nearest village to the ruins. (B,L)

Day 5 Machu Picchu to Cuzco.

Morning at leisure. We recommend returning to the ruins in the early morning before the day’s visitors arrive. Return to Cuzco by train in the afternoon. (B)

Day 6 Cuzco.

Day at leisure. (B)

Day 7 Lima.

Morning flight back to Lima where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel, before taking a half–day city tour. (B)

Day 8 Depart Lima.

Transfer from your hotel to Lima airport. (B)
