Day 1 Arrive Cuzco

Transfer from Cuzco airport to the Monesterio Hotel. This Orient Express hotel is the epitome of elegance and character in Cuzco. It began life as a monastery in the 16th century. It has luxurious rooms, gorgeous cobbled courtyards and even its own chapel.

Day 2 Cuzco to the Sacred Valley.

Today you’ll travel by private car on a full–day tour of the Sacred Valley. Visit the village and impressive ruins of Ollantaytambo and Pisac market. This market is famed for its wide selection of local products and draws traders and tourists alike for miles. Spend two nights at the new Casa Andina Private Collection Hotel in the Sacred Valley. The rooms are beautiful and the views of hillsare divine. (B,L)

Day 3 Sacred Valley.

Day free to explore the area at your leisure. (B)

Day 4 Machu Picchu.

Continue your journey along the valley on the magnificent Hiram Bingham Orient Express train to Machu Picchu. You’ll transfer to your hotel, the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, brilliantly located by the ruins. After check–in, you’ll visit the ruins with a private guide. (B,L,D)

Day 5 Return to Cuzco.

Day at leisure for you to roam the ruins. Return to Cuzco on the Hirham Bingham in the early evening. Pre–dinner cocktails are served followed by a four–course à la carte meal. Transfer and overnight at the Monesterio. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Cuzco.

Private tour of Cuzco and the ruins in the surrounding area. (B)

Day 7 Depart Cuzco.

Transfer from the Monesterio Hotel to Cuzco airport
