Airport VIP Lounges

As you now hold the WEXAS card, your partner or family are entitled to unlimited free VIP lounge access at 22 UK airports (subject, of course, to availability), even if you’re flying economy class—provided, as a Blue Card holder, you’re on a longhaul flight with at least two nights’ accommodation booked through WEXAS.

And overseas you’ll have access to around 100 lounges by presenting your WEXAS card and paying a nominal fee (typically around £15 per person). Avoid the hustle and bustle of airport departure halls and just relax in peace. Lounges normally provide newspapers, phones, email facilities and complimentary drinks and snacks. Find it for less from another ATOL–bonded company on a like–for–like basis and we guarantee to match it. ATOL–bonded means we’ll match the fares of other travel retailers, including online companies who have an ATOL licence from the Civil Aviation Authority, but not airline–only websites that sell fares directly, without bonding, thereby offering no financial protection for you if things go wrong. WEXAS has negotiated access to red24 information for all our members, with a link from www.wexas.com. This site has been specially designed for independent travellers. To subscribe and receive access to red24 normally costs £80 per year. red24 provides immediate access to 24–hour security advice on risk and travel from a team of security professionals. Security advice—preventative and relative security advice. This covers a diverse variety of risk hazards, from chemical attack or kidnapping to securing the home, and safety on the roads. Commission–Free Currency

WEXAS has arranged a commission–free offer for members to purchase their foreign currency and travellers cheques by telephone, direct from Travelex. Exchange rates are competitive, and for just £5 you can receive your currency by special delivery to your home address. If orders are received before 1430hrs, you’ll usually receive your currency or travellers cheques the next working day. A signature is required on delivery. Travelex travellers cheques are the ideal way to protect your money. If they’re lost, stolen or destroyed, the Travelex global refund service will help you, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, wherever in the world you are (purchase claim and refund conditions apply). WEXAS Visa Service

Our travel consultants can provide you with advice on visa requirements and process visa applications on your behalf, but it’s your responsibility to ensure that your passport is valid, in force and with the appropriate visa. If you’ve booked your flights with WEXAS, this service normally costs around £35 per visa (including a special delivery charge) or around £50 if you’ve not booked your flight with WEXAS. Visa applications to some countries can be difficult to obtain, in which event members will be advised of any additional charges. The actual cost of the visa varies from country to country. For some there may be no charge, while for others it may be quite hefty. This cost isn’t included in our service fee. We can process Australian tourist visas electronically for just £10 when you book your flight or, if you’ve not booked with WEXAS, for £25. Previous criminal convictions may affect your rights to travel without a visa to certain destinations—for example, but not exclusively, the USA.
