pampering—combined with spectacular scenery.
Day 1
Sydney to Port Stephens Drive through
a wonderful series of lakes and waterways to Port Stephens, a
beautiful seaside resort known for its white beaches, crystal clear
waters and subtropical climate. Overnight at Peppers Anchorage.
Day 2
Port Stephens to Coffs Harbour Follow
the highway to the thriving town of Port Macquarie, before
continuing via the scenic Waterfall Way to Bellingen and finally to
Coffs Harbour. Stay 2 nights at Novotel Pacific Bay Resort.
Day 3
Coffs Harbour A full day at leisure to
enjoy a range of activities including golf, surfing, scuba diving
and fishing. For the less energetic, spend the day relaxing on the
beach or fossicking for arts and crafts. Whale watching tours are
also available between May and November.
Day 4
Coffs Harbour to Byron Bay Start the
day early in order to make the most of the sensational scenery
on the way to Byron Bay, the most easterly point on the Australia
coast and home to many artists. Overnight at Peppers Casuarina
Lodge.
Day 5
Byron Bay to Brisbane There’s much to
experience en route, starting with a spectacular drive north
through the lush hinterland to the Tweed Valley. Head across the
border to the Gold Coast and on to Brisbane. Overnight at Quay West
Suites.
Day 6
Return the car.
