Arrive Rotorua Make your own way to Treetops Estate and Lodge.
Day 2
Rotorua This morning you will be collected from Treetops by charter helicopter and taken on a Volcanic Adventure. See why early settlers and local Maori pioneered tourism in this region: beautiful lakes, massive volcanic craters, geothermal valleys full of vibrant colours and hot mineral water with healing qualities unsurpassed anywhere else in New Zealand, maybe even the world. Judge for yourself, you wont be disappointed. On conclusion you will be dropped off at Lake Tarawera for a chartered cruise. Step aboard, relax, unwind and enjoy the scenery on the picturesque lake. Your skipper will explain the early Maori and volcanic history of the area. Youll hear how the dramatic 1886 eruption of Mt Tarawera destroyed the world renowned Pink and White Terraces and buried the Maori village of Te Wairoa. Transfer back to Treetops Estate for dinner and the night.
Day 3
Depart Rotorua After breakfast depart Treetops Estate and Lodge by your own arrangements.
