Day 1 Arrive Nepal
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to either Hotel Yak & Yeti (superior) or the Heritage Award-winning Dwarika’s Hotel (deluxe).
Day 2 Kathmandu & Patan
Enjoy sightseeing tours of Kathmandu (including Swayambhunath, the oldest shrine in the world) and medieval Patan. End with a visit to the Tibetan Refugee Camp.
Day 3 Arrive Bhutan
Fly to Paro and transfer to your hotel. Our deluxe option is the hilltop spa resort, Uma Paro, where rooms look out across a forested valley and snow-capped Himalayan peaks.
Days 4-5 Paro & Thimphu
Visit ancient fortresses and the National Museum en route to Thimphu. Spend the next day exploring the capital’s markets, monasteries and view points.
Day 6 Punakha
Cross the Dochula Pass to Punakha, taking in the views of the eastern Himalaya. Visit the 15th century monastery, Chimi Lhakhang, and the exquisite Punakha Dzong.
Day 7 Gangtey Gompa
Explore this fascinating glacial valley, home to the only Nyingmapa monastery in western Bhutan as well as rare black necked cranes.
Day 8 Paro
Return to Paro via the oldest building in Bhutan, the Simtokha Dzong.
Day 9 The Tiger’s Nest
Hike up to Bhutan’s most celebrated pilgrimage site, Taktsang Monastery (The Tiger’s Nest).
Day 10 Arrive Nepal
Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
Day 11 Bhaktapur
Tour Bhaktapur, the ‘City of Devotees’, known for its ancient art and architecture.
Day 12 Departure
Transfer to the airport for your outbound flight.
