CastaDiva Resort is a truly luxurious retreat surrounded by an immaculate park with panoramic views of Lake Como. The original building dates back to the 18th century and combines a renaissance style with all the modern comforts demanded of its clientele.
The resort is composed of nine villas - mostly housing sumptuous suite accommodation (although double rooms are available). These villas are connected to one another by roads, walkways and steps amid the botanic park. The property has accommodation to suit all tastes.
On the basement floor of the villa are two historical docks. One is used for reaching the lake, while the other is part of the spa and connects to the floating pool outside, with a jacuzzi and a sun-deck directly on the lake.
The restaurants offer the finest of Italian products with a particular focus on local traditions.
We like: The dancing fountain, where, after sunset, the floating pool disappears and a dancing fountain, 'suspended' over the lake surface, appears.
