Days 1–2 Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Next morning, embark on a fullday tour that includes the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and the largest mosque in the country.
Day 3 Neemrana
Drive to the 15th century Neemrana Fort & Palace, set on a plateau surrounded by the ancient Aravalli ranges.
Day 4 Mandawa
Travel to Shekhawati and the Hotel Castle Mandawa, a storehouse of frescoes for which the region is famed.
Day 5 Bikaner
Arrive in Bikaner. See its fabulous fort, sandstone havelis (mansions) and exquisite Jain temples.
Days 6–7 Jaisalmer
Visit Jaisalmer’s giant sandstone fort and enjoy a sunset camel ride across the mighty Sam Sand Dunes.
Day 8 Khimsar
Check in to the WelcomHeritage Khimsar Fort on the edge of the Thar Desert for an evening’s star gazing.
Days 9–10 Rohet
Travel to Rohet via Jodhpur and join a ‘village safari’. You’ll be welcomed by the local Bishnois, who’ve protected the land for more than 500 years, ensuring the survival of rare desert species.
Days 11–12 Udaipur
Stop at the huge Jain temple of Ranakpur en route to the oasis city of Udaipur. Tour the City Palace, the Jagdish temple and the gardens of Sahelion Ki Bari. End with a cruise on serene Lake Pichola.
Day 13 Deogarh
Check in to the 18th century Deogarh Castle. The afternoon is free to explore the nearby Dashavatar Temple.
Days 14–15 Samode
Enjoy two nights at the exquisite Samode Palace. The next day travel to Jaipur. Visit the Amber Fort, the City Palace Museum and the five-storied Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds).
Day 16 Delhi
Drive to Delhi’s international airport for your outbound flight
