A Glimpse Of China - Xian
Xian is home to the Terracotta Warriors, the famed life-sized tomb guards of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Xian is also the only city in China that still has its ancient city wall surrounding it.
Day 1 Arrive Xian
On arrival youll be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 Xian
Full day of sightseeing. Visit the Muslim Quarter to see the Great Mosque (one of the four most importatnt mosques in the country), the ancient City Wall (the best preserved of its kind in China, and arguably the highlight of your tour), and the Teracotta Warriors (a UNESCO Cultural Heritage site). Enjoy a Tang Dynasty dinner in the evening.
Day 3 Depart Xian
In the morning visit the Provincial Museum which houses a large collection devoted to the history of the Silk Road, and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, initially built in the 7th century to house Buddhist scriptures brought back from India. Later in the day youll be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
