Day 1: Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver, collect your hire car and transfer to your hotel. Start to familiarise yourself with the city, Robson Street shopping, excellent restaurants and it's vibrant nightlife.
Days 2-3: Vancouver
Two full-days for exploring this spectacularly located city, visit the 1,000 acre Stanley Park, historic Gastown and Granville Island's famous Public Market.
Days 4-5: Victoria
Drive to the port to board the ferry for your crossing to Vancouver Island. Cruise past the rugged coastline and beaches of the Gulf Islands, and along the Saanich Peninsula to Victoria. Your stay in Victoria includes an excursion into the Pacific aboard a Zodiac power boat to look for orca, minke and grey whales and other marine life. You’ll also visit the celebrated Butchart Gardens.
Days 6-7: Tofino
Continue your journey across Vancouver Island to Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park. Join an exciting whalewatching expedition in Clayaquot Sound and take some time to explore the rugged coastline along the network of hiking trails.
Day 8: Campbell River
Take the spectacular route back to the east coast of Vancouver Island stopping off at Horne Lake Caves or Cathedral Grove en route. Spend the night in the quaint town of Campbell River.
Day 9-10: Knight Inlet
Take a thrilling 30-minute floatplane flight to the mouth of Glendale River and Knight Inlet Lodge. Highlights include wildlife viewing tours which go in search of grizzly bears. Trained guides will accompany you.
Day 11: Vancouver
Return to Campbell River by floatplane, followed by a ferry crossing to the mainland. Return to Vancouver along the rugged Sunshine Coast.
Day 12: End of Tour
Return your hire car to the airport where your tour ends.
