Treasures & Lighthouses of Nova Scotia
Tailor-made self-drive itinerary
Coastal beauty and an interesting history are among Nova Scotia’s many draws. The region has strong Gaelic ties, but mixed in among the tartan shops and Gaelic signs are symbols of the other peoples who have helped to shape the province. The influences of Acadians of French ancestry, of native Mi’kmaq, African Nova Scotians and other, more recent immigrant groups can all be seen. The gingerbread houses and storybook lighthouses give this Atlantic province its own distinctive identity and it has truly become the crown jewel of Canada’s eastern coast.
