Day 1 Calgary - Banff
Arriving in the Stampede city of Calgary you’ll start your tour with a relaxing transfer to the mountain resort of Banff, where you’ll spend two nights at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.
Day 2 Banff
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Banff before embarking on a choice of activities including a float trip down the Bow River, a round of golf on the course at the Fairmont Banff Springs, a memorable helicopter ride or a boat cruise around the majestic Lake Minnewanka (B,D).
Day 3 Lake Louise
Ride the Banff gondola to the top of Sulphur mountain and enjoy the panoramic mountain views, before continuing your journey through the Rockies. After a stop at the glacial Moraine Lake it’s on to incredibly beautiful Lake Louise, deservingly known as the ‘Jewel of the Rockies’. Knowledgeable local mountain guides will ensure you experience the best of the area, before dining in one of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise’s four restaurants. Overnight at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (B,D).
Day 4 Jasper
Travel along the Icefields Parkway road, one of the world’s great scenic drives and stop at the giant Columbia Icefield for a ride in a specially-designed Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier before continuing to the fabulous surroundings of Jasper National Park. Overnight at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge (B,D).
Day 5 Sun Peaks
Crossing from Alberta into British Columbia, today’s drive follows the famous Yellowhead Highway. On the way to the winter sports resort of Sun Peaks you’ll pass Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Overnight at the Delta Sun Peaks Resort (B,D).
Day 6 Whistler
Follow in the footsteps of the early gold rush pioneers as you travel past remote coastal inlets and the forests of the Cariboo Mountains on the way to Whistler, a popular location for skiing and mountain biking. Overnight at the Westin Whistler Resort (B,D).
Day 8 Victoria
The tour crosses the Georgia Strait to Vancouver Island. You may decide to take a floatplane transfer (at additional cost) or to follow the picturesque Sea to Sky Highway and take the ferry to Victoria, the charming provincial capital. Spend two nights at the Delta Ocean Point Resort & Spa (B).
Day 9 Victoria
Start the day with breakfast at the Butchart Gardens, followed by your choice of activity in Victoria (B,D).
Day 9 Vancouver
Look out for whales and other marine life as you take the ferry back to Vancouver, the final stop on your tour.
