Overview
Departing Oban you steam north-west for Eigg and the opportunity to spot some of nearly 200 species of bird that abound locally; golden eagles, ravens and buzzards. The ship then heads to the west coast of Skye heading for the volcanic Shiant Isles.
East Loch Tarbert is the approach to the spectacular scenery that is the island of Harris. From there, you head south to the tiny islands of Mingulay, Pabbay and Berneray where, weather permitting, a beach landing can be made.
Crossing the Sea of the Hebrides you arrive at Muck. Sandy beaches, wild flowers and breathtaking views are a feature of our walks here. Onwards and south to the peaceful island of Ulva, for more walks and a visit to Sheila’s Cottage Museum.
Cruising on past Staffa (location of Fingal’s Cave) we visit Iona and, in particular the Abbey which houses one of the most comprehensive collections of Christian carved stones in Scotland. The peaceful island of Jura is the most southerly location - home of the famous Paps dominating the island landscape. Here you will land on the beach in Loch Tarbert, to enjoy walks on the island.
The island of Colonsay can also be seen from here, and it’s the exceptional variety of trees and shrubs of Colonsay House Gardens that serve as a fitting finale to an enchanting holiday.

Itinerary
Day One
Embarkation in Oban.
Day Two
Morning - walks for all on Eigg. Afternoon - cruise past west coast of Skye. Evening - Captain’s welcome gala dinner.
Day Three
Morning - beach landing on the Shiant Isles. Afternoon - coach tour of Harris from East Loch Tarbert.
Day Four
Morning - cruising Mingulay, Pabbay and Berneray. Afternoon - beach landing on one of these islands.
Day Five
Morning - cruising the Sea of the Hebrides. Afternoon - walks ashore on Muck.
Day Six
Morning - on Ulva, we visit Sheila’s Cottage Museum. Afternoon - cruise past Staffa and Fingal’s Cave to Iona and visit the Abbey.
Day Seven
