Here’s an ideal way to squeeze more from a much-needed holiday – enjoy a week on a luxury gulet cruise along the breathtaking Turkish coastline and take a second week at a beautiful boutique hotel. You’ll make the most of your time and money while soaking up the sun amid history, culture and crystal clear waters.
Gulets are traditional Turkish motoryachts, beautifully crafted from wood, with two masts and spacious sundecks from which to take in the views of the Aegean and Mediterranean. Various gulets are available, with a different number of berths in each.
DAY 1 FETHIYE HARBOUR Fly into Dalaman and transfer to your gulet in Fethiye.
DAY 2 Turunç Bay Set sail for Pine Tree Bay for lunch and then on to Turunç Bay for afternoon swimming and overnight stay.
DAY 3 GEMILER Head to Pirates Bay, an idyllic cove for swimming, then on to Gemiler where you’ll drop anchor for the night.
DAY 4 KALKAN Cruise along to Firmaz Bay for a swim and head on to Kalkan after lunch, where you’ll explore the charming winding streets. Moor in the harbour overnight.
DAY 5 Gökkaya Visit Kekova and its ancient sunken city, overlooked by the ruins of Simena Castle on the hillside. Overnight in Gökkaya.
DAY 6 Kale Köy Depart for Üçagiz village after breakfast and on to Kale Köy for dinner.
DAY 7 KAS Head to Limanagzi Bay for lunch and a swim, before heading into Kas for your final onboard night.
DAYs 8–14 RHAPSODY HOTEL, KALKANRhapsody Hotel, Kalka n Tranfer to Kalkan’s 4-star Rhapsody Hotel (or other boutique hotel), which enjoys superb views over the bay. It’s just a short stroll to the shops and there’s a pool, sauna, terrace restaurant and Turkish bath. Rooms are all comfortable and many boast tremendous sea vistas.
DAY 15 HOMEWARD BOUND Transfer to the airport and fly back to the UK.
