Norwegian Lapland

Follow in the footsteps of our Online Editor, James Innes Williams on a journey through Norwegian Lapland.

Carved by glaciers, wrinkled by mountains and slashed by giant fjords, Norwegian Lapland is an exciting destination at any time of year. Summer sees a land bathed in the glow of the Midnight Sun; winter is altogether more electric, with travellers treated to the magical Northern Lights. There are Arctic cabins serving coffee and waffles, reindeer safaris, snow hotels, king crab lunches and wonderful walks. It’s not too late to book a summertime tour - James’ itinerary is featured below. And for those looking further ahead, our wintertime package is featured beneath it.
