Waipoua Forest - Home of the giant Kauri trees, native to New Zealand these trees grow to over 50 metres in height with mighty trunks that can measure up to 16 metres. - Paihia - Nestled on the foresore of the beautiful Bay of Islands, Paihia is gateway to many of the areas top attractions, including day and overnight cruises and dolphin experiences. Hotels and lodges around Paihia are located in some of the most idyllic locations with stunning views across the Bay.
- Rotorua - New Zealands Maori and geothermal capital. Whether your looking for the spurting geyers or thermal spas, you’ll find it all here!
- Kaikoura - Whale watching centre and a must stop if you’ve never experienced these amazing mammals in their natural habitat.
- Franz Josef - Glacier territory. Stretching up the west coast of New Zealand’s south island, these alpine ranges are snow capped year round and offer some of the most spectacular scenery. A scenic helicopter or small plane flight is the best way to get the most out of this area.
- Queenstown - Adventure capital of the south island and gateway to many of the southern touring attractions including Milford and Doubtful sounds, jet boating on the dart river, white water rafting, day walks and much more.

Recommended Itinerary
Days 1-2 Auckland Transfer from the airport to the waterfront Sebel Suites. Enjoy a harbour Sailing experience the next morning.
Day 3 Waipoua Forest Collect your hire car and head north on the Twin Coast Discovery route, stopping for the night at Waipoua Lodge, surrounded by giant kauri trees.
Days 4-5 Paihia Continue around the coast past Ninety Mile Beach and Cape Reinga to Paihia, gateway to the beautiful Bay of Islands, known for its dolphins and whales. Stay at the Waterfront Suites.
Day 6 Rotorua Drop your hire car at Keri Keri Airport and fly to Rotorua (not included) for a visit to the Te Puia Thermal Reserve and Maori Arts & Crafts Institute. Spend the night at The Springs B&B.
Day 7 Napier Collect your hire car and drive to Napier, the Art Deco capital of the world and springboard to the vineyards of Hawke’s Bay. Stay at the Crown Hotel.
Day 8 Wellington Drive to the Kiwi capital and soak up its burgeoning arts scene. Stay in a suite at The Museum Hotel.
Days 9-10 Blenheim Drop your car at the ferry terminal and cross the Cook Strait to the South Island. Another hire car will be waiting to take you to Old Brookhurst in Blenheim, surrounded by vineyards.
Day 11 Kaikoura Drive to Kaikoura and spend the night in one of Hapuku Lodge’s incredible treehouses.
Day 12 Christchurch After a whale watching tour in the morning, head to Christchurch. Drop your hire car and check in to The George Hotel.
Day 13 Franz Josef Pass through the foothills of the jagged Southern Alps on the TranzAlpine railway to Greymouth. Collect your hire car and head south to Westwood Lodge in Franz Joseph. Enjoy a helicopter drop on the glacier the next day.
Days 15-17 Queenstown Drive to Queenstown the country’s adventure capital and we’ve included a jetboat ride on the Dart River. There are also great wineries and golf courses in the area. Stay at The Rees Hotel.
Days 18-19 Te Anau Travel west to Te Anau, gateway to Fiordland National Park and the beautiful Milford Sound - we’ve arranged a scenic cruise. Stay at Fiordland Lodge.
Day 20 Dunedin Drive to Dunedin, gateway to the Otago Peninsula and the world’s only mainland albatross colony. Overnight at Fletcher Lodge.
Day 21 Depart Dunedin Drop your hire car at the airport and fly home.
