Sun Boat IV lives up to her name thanks to two large sun decks. The upper deck offers a swimming pool for cooling off, the lower deck an outdoor bar for meeting new friends. Cruise 1 Brief itinerary 7-days / 6-nights
Day 1 Cairo. On arrival in Cairo, you will be met by your tour co-ordinator and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at Grand Hyatt, Cairo.
Day 2 Giza. Escorted by an Egyptologist, your discovery of Egypt starts with a fascinating tour to the Great Pyramids and the legendary Sphinx. In the afternoon visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and explore some of the 120,000 objects which include many from the world-famous tomb of the boy-king Tutankhamen. Overnight Grand Hyatt Hotel, Cairo
Days 3 - 5 Nile cruise onboard Sun Boat IV. After check out you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Aswan, where upon arrival you will be transferred to the Sun Boat IV for your Nile cruise. This afternoon you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk before enjoying an evening cocktail reception on board. Overnight on board in Aswan.
On Day 4 take a short motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilka. Today’s activities will also include a cooking lesson. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek followed by a visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the largest Pharaonic temple in Egypt. Overnight on board in Esna.
Day 5 includes a morning visit to the Valley of the Kings & Queens and Hatshepsut Temple. There is also the opportunity for a Photostop at Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon you will take a tour of the East bank of Luxor, which includes the graceful Temple of Luxor, and the Karnak Temple. Return to the Sun Boat IV for your farewell dinner. Overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 6 Luxor to Cairo. After breakfast on board, disembark and transfer to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo. Overnight Grand Hyatt, Cairo.
Day 7 Depart Cairo. After breakfast day at leisure before transferring to the airport for your return flight.

On Day 4 you will cruise northwards to Qena, a particularly alluring part of Upper Egypt’s landscape. Spend time at Denderah before cruising onward to Luxor where you’ll have the opportunity to see the graceful temple dedicated to the God Amun. Overnight onboard in Luxor.
On Day 5 your morning is at leisure as you cruise to Edfu. After a cokking lesson and lunch your afternoon includes a tour of the Temple at Edfu and the Kom Ombo Temple. Tonight’s dinner allows you to sample some traditional Egyptian cuisine and entertainment. Overnight onboard in Kom Ombo.
On Day 6 you will take a short motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilka. In the afternoon enjoy a Felucca ride, a typical Egyptian sail boat, around Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener’s Botanical Gardens, and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight on board in Aswan.
