Sanctuary MS Nile Adventurer’s state-of-the-art design provides a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The five spacious decks include an upper sun deck with a swimming pool and a lower sun deck with an outdoor bar. After recent refurbishment, the ship started sailing again in October 2009.

Brief itinerary
Day 1 Cairo Spend your first night at the Mena House Oberoi, a palatial hotel in the shadow of the Great Pyramids. Private airport transfers are included.
Day 2 Cairo Dive straight into history with a private tour of the Great Pyramids at Giza, the Sphinx, Saqqara and the ancient capital, Memphis.
Day 3 Cairo Visit the Egyptian Museum, home to an unparalleled collection of Egyptian artefacts, and haggle for souvenirs at Cairo’s Khan el Khalili bazaar.
Day 4 Aswan Take a short flight to Aswan, one of the prettiest towns in Egypt, and transfer to a hotel on Elephantine Island.
Day 5 Abu Simbel Enjoy a fly-in-fly-out excursion to the colossal Sun Temple of Abu Simbel, rescued from flooding by UNESCO during the building of the Aswan Dam (at additional cost).
Days 6-8 Nile cruise Board Sanctuary MS Nile Adventurer, a luxury cruise ship completely refurbished for the new season, for a three-day cruise through Upper Egypt, visiting the High Aswan Dam, the Valley of the Kings and the temples of Philae, Luxor and Karnak.
Day 9 Luxor Trade the luxurious Sanctuary ms Nile Adventurer for the equally wonderful Old Winter Palace, one of Egypt’s most famous hotels.
Day 10 Cairo Return by air to Cairo and fly to the UK.
