Nxabega’s magnificent main building is elevated and built from local timber, reed and thatch with sweeping views. The camp comprises a dining room, sitting room and expansive decks. The exterior offers outside dining space and a swimming pool.
Accommodation consists of nine East African-style safari tents on raised wooden platforms with private decks overlooking a floodplain. All tents have an en suite shower and w.c, and are elegantly furnished with wardrobes, luggage racks, chairs, dressing tables and bedside tables.
Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp
The architecture and infrastructure is guided by the principle of a light footprint. The guest areas are all positioned carefully to maximise the sweeping views out across the channels, with classic Delta tree line silhouettes. The intimate guest sitting area boasts a spacious reading area, perfect for afternoon relaxation. The innovative dining area features shady verandas overlooking the channels of the Delta.
Nine sleek ensuite safari tents have breathtaking views over the channel. Each tented suite also boasts a romantic sala and a private plunge pool.
Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge
In the heart of the camp, tucked under the forest canopy, the sitting and dining area feature quiet decks affording views across the waterways. A shaded swimming pool is situated close by. Pan African dinners are prepared and served in the open boma that boasts a unique charcoal-cooled wine cellar.
Eight intimate African-inspired cottages with en suite bathroom, twin hand basin, separate w.c and outdoor shower and dressing area. The cottages are airy with all windows covered in gauze to maximise views of the forest. Each cottage has an elevated viewing deck, which is perfect for intimate candlelit dinners.
Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge
At Xudum there are nine split-level safari suites in handsome tones of chocolate and ebony feature large bathtubs and romantic al fresco showers. Each suite also has a private plunge pool and a lofty rooftop lookout with magnificent Delta views.
The inventive, layered guest areas boast dramatic decks with 180° views of the surrounding wilderness yet remain discreetly within the tree line. These spaces are designed to create a more intimate atmosphere, with massive, inviting oversized sofas ideal for relaxing after your safari activities.
Botswana Under Canvas
Botswana under canvas offers fully serviced wilderness camping, with carefully selected camp locations offering amazingly close interaction with wildlife.
The spacious, well-appointed en suite tents each have either a twin or double bed, en suite bathroom, separate w.c., and al fresco bucket shower (hot water delivered upon request).
There are separate tents for dining or just relaxing with a drink or a good book.
On game drives there is a maximum of 6 guests in specially modified safari vehicles and you’ll be accompanied by an expert &Beyond guide.
Under Canvas wilderness camping can be found in Chobe National Park, home to the largest concentration of elephant.
