For over 90 years, the O’Reilly family has been welcoming visitors to their mountain home in World Heritage Lamington National Park and pride themselves on providing a traditional, Australian hospitality experience in a spectacular natural setting. Over 80 years ago, it was a two day journey via car, train and horseback from Brisbane. Today a visit is less than a two hour scenic drive from Brisbane and 90 minutes from the Gold Coast. O’Reilly’s is located on the western edge of Lamington Plateau, 930 metres (3,000 feet) above sea level and enjoys spectacular views to the west over the McPherson Ranges and Great Dividing Range. O’Reilly’s is also surrounded by the rainforests of Lamington National Park, Australia’s largest stand of sub-tropical rainforest and one of Australia’s bio-diverse ’hot-spots’. The rainforests, the vast array of bird life & wildlife, the walking tracks, waterfalls and spectacular views attract visitors from all over the world. The retreats Mountain View Rooms boast a private balcony where you can relax and soak up the magnificent views to the McPherson ranges. With spacious high-set rooms featuring exposed beams, natural timbers, raked ceilings and private bathroom, it’s no wonder they’re the retreats most popular style of accommodation. Most rooms contain a queen and single bed, whilst six family rooms also contain additional bedding for two extra guests, and two are equipped for wheelchair occupation.
