Located just 72km north east of Gladstone (Queensland), in the world heritage listed Great Barrier Reef, Heron Island is a nature lover’s haven. 32 Turtle Rooms - Set amongst the gardens just a short walk away from the beach and central resort facilities, all rooms are ground level with a deck and outdoor area.
50 Reef Suites - Nestled close to the beach, suites enjoy filtered reef and water views through a canopy of beachside trees and shrubs. All suites extend out to a balcony or garden setting.
20 Beachside Suites - Set in prime beachside location with direct access to the beach and reef. Double glass sliding doors fill the room with natural light and connect both the spacious bedroom and separate living area with a large outdoor balcony.
2 Wistari Suites - Hidden within a private secluded garden setting, with filtered ocean views, Wistari Suites offer a spacious living with a large lounge area and separate King bedded sleeping area. A private outdoor terrace features wooden furniture and a cozy two-person hammock.
4 Point Suites - Offering uninterrupted reef views and magical sunsets over the Great Barrier Reef, Point Suites are spacious and include a large ensuite and separate dressing room. A generous living area extends through glass doors to an extensive outdoor terrace with sun lounges
1 Beach House - Set beachside within a grove of trees the Beach House offers filtered ocean views and a private boardwalk provides direct access to the beach. With only one Beach House on offer, this accommodation offers maximum privacy and is located a short stroll away from the central resort facilities and restaurant.
